What is Brevoxyl?
Brevoxyl Cream is a topical preparation used in the treatment of acne. It should be applied to the affected area once a day and increase the frequency gradually. Do not apply on an itchy or irritating skin. Avoid exposure to the sunlight.
Brevoxyl uses?
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
How does Brevoxyl work?
Brevoxyl Cream is an organic compound. It has a keratolytic property, i.e., it even out the uneven skin. When applied on acne, it releases oxygen which kill bacteria. This is how it works to cure your acne.
How to take Brevoxyl?
If it is almost time for your next application of benzoyl peroxide, skip the application you missed and apply the gel when you are next meant to. Otherwise, use it as soon as you remember, and then go back to using your gel as you would normally. Do not use a double dose to make up for the dose you missed. If you have trouble remembering to use your medicine, ask your pharmacist for some hints.
Brevoxyl Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

Not recommended in patients with known allergy to Brevoxyl 4 % Cream.
Brevoxyl Dosage:
- Missed Dose
Apply preparation as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
- Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
