What is Imiquad Sachet (Imiquimod)?

Imiquad Cream is used for the treatment of external genital or perianal warts and basal cell cancer of the skin. It is also used for the treatment of actinic keratoses, a condition where the skin gets thickened and rough due to the damage from sun exposure.

Imiquad Sachet (Imiquimod) Uses?

• Actinic Keratosis

This medicine is used for the treatment of actinic keratosis, a skin condition characterized by rough, dry, or scaly skin on the face and scalp caused by too much sun exposure.

• Condylomata Acuminata

This medicine is used to treat the condylomata acuminate or genital warts that appear on the surface of male and female sexual organs and around the anus. It can be used in adults and children who are 12 years or older.

• Basal cell carcinoma

This medicine is used for the treatment of basal cell cancer of the skin in adults.

How Dose Imiquad Sachet (Imiquimod) work?

Imiquad Cream 3’S works in genital warts by triggering the immune system to produce natural substances that help fight against the virus, which causes warts. Researchers don’t know how exactly it works in actinic keratosis or basal cell cancer.

How to take Imiquad Sachet (Imiquimod)?

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Imiquad Sachet Contraindications:

• Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known allergy to imiquimod, or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

Imiquad Sachet (Imiquimod) Dosage:

• Missed Dose

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed one.

• Overdose

An overdose of this medicine is not likely to cause severe symptoms unless it is applied for a prolonged period of time in large volumes. However, the ingestion of this medicine may cause harm and immediate medical intervention may be required. Symptoms of an overdose may include severe skin irritation, feeling light-headed, or fainting, etc.
