Imatib 400 mg Tablet is used to treat and prevent the growth of certain types of cancers of the blood cells, stomach, intestine, bone marrow, and skin.
Imatib works by interfering with the action of certain proteins to help prevent cancer cells from spreading and to prevent them from multiplying. The active ingredient imatinib is an anticancer type of medication classified as a kinase inhibitor.
It can be used to treat certain types of cancer such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors, leukemia, and dermamtofibrosarcoma protuberance when the tumor cannot be removed surgically has come back after surgery or has spread to other parts of the body.
How to Uses Imatib 400 mg?
Imatib is used for treating certain types of leukemia, certain bone marrow diseases, a certain type of skin cancer, and certain intestinal tumors (eg, gastrointestinal stromal tumors [GIST]). It may also be used to prevent cancer from growing in patients after surgical removal of GIST.

Imatib 400 mg Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Imatib Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Imatib 400mg Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:

- Levothyroxine
- Liver, kidney, or heart problems
- Weight gain
Imatib 400 mg Dosage
- Missed Dose:
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, then the missed dose can be skipped. Contact your physician for further instructions if you miss more than one scheduled dose of this medicine.
- Overdose:
Contact your physician immediately if an overdose with this medicine is suspected. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin allergies, tiredness, fever, etc.
