Fertomid 100mg Tablet is a non-steroidal, ovulatory stimulant. It acts as a selective estrogen receptor modulator. It is a medication used to treat infertility in women and help them get pregnant. It is meant for those women who do not ovulate. This includes those who have polycystic ovary syndrome. Its long-term use results in multiple ovulation and increases the chance of twins. It is taken by mouth once a day.

How to work?
Fertomid 100mg Tablet works by stimulating the release of eggs from the ovary (ovulation).
How to take it?
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Fertomid 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Contraindications:
Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to Fertomid 100 MG Tablet or any other component present with it.
Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have abnormal vaginal/uterine bleeding that is yet to be diagnosed.
Thyroid/Adrenal gland disorder
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having an active disease of the thyroid or adrenal glands.
Endometrial cancer
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having uterine cancer.
Liver disease
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having an impairment of liver function.

Missed Dose
Call the doctor for further instructions if you miss a scheduled dose of this medicine.
Overdose
Contact a doctor immediately if an overdose with this medicine is suspected. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, headache, hot flashes, etc.
Side effects:
In addition to its intended effect, Fertomid 100 MG Tablet may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek medical attention immediately. This is not an exhaustive list of side effects. Please inform your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction to the medication.

Pregnancy

Breast-feeding
The use of this woman is not recommended for women who are breastfeeding. If the use of this medicine is absolutely necessary then your doctor may ask to discontinue breastfeeding.
General warnings
Evaluation of hormone levels
It is advised to evaluate the levels of sex hormones and rule out diseases like endometrial cancer, ovarian cysts before starting the treatment with this medicine. It is advised to undergo a regular pelvic examination before and during the course of treatment.
Multiple pregnancies
Use of this medicine may increase the risk of multiple pregnancies. it is advised to discuss the risks associated with the use of this medicine.
Visual disturbances
The use of this medicine has been associated with an impairment of vision in some patients. It is advised to not drive vehicles while using this medicine.
