What is Velpanat Tablets?
Velpanat 400mg/100mg Tablet is used in combination with other medications such as ribavirin, daclatasvir and peginterferon to treat chronic hepatitis C. It functions by reducing the hepatitis C virus in the body. This helps to keep liver disorders such as cirrhosis and liver cancer at bay.
On using this medication you may experience side effects such as diarrhoea, itchiness, headache, nausea, drowsiness, rapid breathing, rapid heartbeat and skin paleness. If your reactions persist, seek the help of your health care provider right away.
Before using this medication you should tell your doctor if; you are allergic to any ingredient contained within Velpanat 400mg/100mg Tablet, you have any other allergies, you are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs, you have liver/kidney disorders, you are below 18 years of age, you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are nursing a baby.
The dosage should be prescribed by the doctor based on your age, overall medical history and current condition. The usual dose in adults for treating chronic hepatitis C is 400 mg to be taken orally once daily.

Velpanat Tablets Contraindications:
Velpanat ( Sofosbuvir 400 mg & velpatasvir 100 mg) is used alone or with ribavirin to treat chronic hepatitis C. Sofosbuvir is in a class of antiviral medications called nucleotide hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B polymerase inhibitors. Velpatasvir is in a class of antiviral medications called HCV NS5A replication complex inhibitors.
The combination of sofosbuvir and velpatasvir works by stopping the virus that causes hepatitis C from spreading inside the body.
Velpanat Tablets Dosage:
The simple treatment by VELPANAT (Velpatasvir 100mg & Sofosbuvir 400mg) is effective for the patients in the broader range and these are the patients who have the chronic Hepatitis C infection also known as the HCV.
This particular drug has the nucleotide polymerase inhibitor associated with it that plays a major role in the treatment and if the patient takes VELPANAT for a period of 12 weeks at a stretch, it will provide amazing rate of sustained virologic response for the patients having the HCV infections of the genotypes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.
